TWO MORE VICTORIES FOR N.S. PRO MODUS3 TOUR 120 AND N.S. PRO 950GH

Nippon Shaft was the steel shaft of choice for the winners of the latest events on the LPGA Tour and the European Challenge Tour.

The winner of the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic played the Nippon Shaft N.S. PRO 950GH S flex steel shafts in her irons while the champion of the Madeira Islands Open used the N.S. PRO MODUS³ Tour 120 TX flex steel shafts in his irons.

The winner at Mobile Bay shot 21-under par on rounds of 67-70-65-65—267 to win by one stroke and earn $180,000. The Arizona State alumna is in her third year on the LPGA Tour.

Meanwhile the former U.S. Amateur winner and All-American won the Madeira Islands Open in Portugal by two shots, firing rounds of 72-64-69-68—273 for a 15-under par total.

The victories come one week after three Nippon Shaft players finished among the top 10 at the Players Championship.

“Once again Nippon Shaft is very proud to have two more young players winning with our equipment,” said Hiro Fukuda, head of sales and marketing for the Japan-based company.  “Nippon Shaft sends its heartfelt congratulations to both of them.”

In 2012, Nippon Shaft recorded more than 50 victories on professional golf tours worldwide, as the best players in the world increasingly chose to install in their irons steel shafts manufactured in Japan to unparalleled quality standards.
