At the PGA Tour’s Valero Texas Open, a 10-year pro and California native increased his PGA Tour power ranking with a T8 finish playing SteelFiber i110 in his hybrid club. During the Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic on the Champions Tour, SteelFiber HLS75 hybrid shafts scored solo fourth and a T9 finish; while SteelFiber J-Series J78 and SteelFiber i95s delivered a T8 and T10 at the LPGA Tour Kia Classic.
“SteelFiber shafts have changed the way players — pro and amateur alike — think about iron shafts,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “SteelFiber shafts gives greater vibration dampening and reduces player fatigue, while at the same time providing the consistency, accuracy and stability that players have traditionally attributed to steel shafts. It’s the power of graphite with the stability of steel, and for many players it’s a game-changer.”
