Aerotech Wraps Up 2014 with Top Money
Aerotech Golf, maker of the No. 1 graphite iron shafts in golf, wrapped up the year very much the way it started — delivering Top 10 money on the world’s top tours. This week, SteelFiber shafts took second-place at the Franklin Templeton Shootout on the PGA Tour and fifth-place at the PNC Father Son Challenge on the Champions Tour.

At the Franklin Templeton Shootout on the PGA Tour, one half of the second-place team played SteelFiber i95 graphite shafts in his Bridgestone irons to contribute to an impressive 31-under par combined score. Meanwhile, SteelFiber players at the PNC Father Son Challenge were also impressing the crowd. The fifth-place team that included a former Masters Champion and his son both played SteelFiber i110s, and the son won the PGA Tour.com’s Shot of the Week by acing his 175-yard tee shot on the par-3 4th hole in the final round.

“This weekend’s events were fun and exciting, and a great way to wrap up what has been a record-breaking year for SteelFiber shafts,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “The success of SteelFiber shafts has crossed over to all the top world tours and more pros than ever before are enjoying SteelFibers’ unique performance benefits, such as greater vibration dampening, reduced player fatigue, increased yardage and unprecedented accuracy. We’re looking forward to another great year in 2015.”
