SteelFiber Delivers Top Three Finishes on LPGA and Web Tours
The No. 1 graphite iron shaft on all top U.S. Tours, SteelFiber shafts by Aerotech Golf served up two Top Three finishes this weekend on the LPGA and Web.com Tours.

A young three-year pro played SteelFiber i80 taper tip shafts in her irons and scored third place at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic at the Lake Merced Golf Club in San Francisco, Calif. Meanwhile on the Web.com Tour, a Swedish-born pro trusted his game to SteelFiber i95S taper tips to tie for second at the WNB Golf Classic in Midland, Texas.

“SteelFiber shafts are increasingly popular on the pro tours, and the SteelFiber’s unique performance benefits are the real key to the shaft’s growing success,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “SteelFiber composite technology combines the performance characteristics of both graphite shafts and steel shafts for the best of both worlds. These shafts produce greater vibration dampening and lessens player fatigue while also providing more consistency. It’s truly game-changing innovation.”

SteelFiber shafts have already delivered four wins and nearly 20 Top 10 money positions in the 2014 season. In 2013, players with SteelFiber shafts in their irons won five events on the PGA TOUR and two events on the Champions Tour. In addition, players with SteelFiber shafts ranked No. 2 and No. 3 in the FedEx Cup Season Points at the end of the regular season. SteelFiber shafts were also No. 6 and No. 12 in FedEx Cup Playoff Points; and ended 2013 overall as No. 3 and No. 5 on the PGA Money List; Nos. 8 and 9 in official world rankings; and tied for first and fourth in Top 10 finishes.

SteelFiber shafts provide superior performance through innovative composite engineering that combines a high-modulus graphite core with 59 miles of steel fiber lacing the shaft surface. The shaft’s graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, while the steel fibers produce optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy.
