SteelFiber Wins Shaw Charity Classic
The No. 1 graphite iron shafts in golf, SteelFiber shafts by Aerotech Golf took first-place at the Shaw Charity Classic on the Champions Tour this weekend and helped set a new course record in the process.

Playing SteelFiber i110 shafts in his irons and two hybrids, the Shaw Charity Classic champion shot a bogey-free, 9-under-61 in the final round, setting a new course record. He shot 81.48 percent greens in regulation, and was first in the number of eagles (3). The former Masters Champion added yet another victory to his incredible career win totals 15 PGA Tour wins, 11 Champions Tour wins, five international victories and 27 other pro event wins.

“We congratulate the champion on his outstanding victory and we’re excited that he trusts his game to the innovative technology in SteelFiber shafts,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “Unlike traditional steel shafts, SteelFiber shafts reduce the risk of injury, lessen aggravation of existing injuries and decrease the fatigue, while simultaneously delivering stability and increased distance. It’s game-changing technology that is making a real difference for professional and amateur players alike.”

SteelFiber shafts provide superior performance through innovative composite engineering that combines a high-modulus graphite core with 59 miles of steel fiber lacing the shaft surface. The shaft’s graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, while the steel fibers produce optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy.
