SteelFiber Takes Second at Torrey Pines
Aerotech Golf announces that its No. 1-selling SteelFiber composite iron shafts delivered a second-place tie at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. The high-money finish this week marked the fifth Top 10 finish (four in Top Five) in three weeks for the Tour’s leading composite iron shafts.

The nine-year pro and 2012 Tour Championship winner played SteelFiber i95 shafts in his Bridgestone irons, shooting a 10-under 278.

“Torrey Pines inspires golf enthusiasts all over the world so scoring second-place on such a memorable course is very exciting for us. SteelFiber shafts feature a high-modulus graphite core laced with micro-thin steel fiber — a unique combination that provides a solid feel at impact while also giving a player the benefits of greater vibration dampening, reduced fatigue and increased clubhead speed. The result is a composite shaft alternative for irons that has proven itself on the pro tours,” said Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary.
