SteelFiber Lands Top Fives on Web.com and LPGA Tours
SteelFiber graphite iron shafts by Aerotech Golf landed Top Five money this weekend on the Web.com and LPGA Tours. The world’s No. 1 graphite iron shaft delivered second-place at the Web.com Tour Championship, and gave a smooth ride to a T5 finish at the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic.

On the Web.com Tour, SteelFiber shafts won second-place at the Web.com Tour Championship as the former University of Louisville player recorded a 65-66-66-68 at TPC Sawgrass for his biggest payday of the season. He will play on the PGA Tour next year. At the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic, the 2013 Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year shot a 68-69-71-68 12-under par with SteelFiber graphite shafts in her irons for share of fifth place.

“Week after week on the pro tours, it becomes more evident that SteelFiber graphite irons shafts are changing the game, and that’s something that is going to benefit players of all ages and skill levels,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “SteelFiber shafts combine the performance characteristics of graphite shafts which produce greater vibration dampening and less fatigue with those of steel shafts which typically give more stability and consistency. These are unique performance benefits that every golfer can appreciate.”
