SteelFiber Clinches Second at Senior Players Championship
The No. 1 composite irons shafts on the PGA TOUR for the past three years, SteelFiber shafts by Aerotech Golf delivered Top 10 money positions on both the PGA and Champions Tours this week, including second- and ninth place at the Senior Players Championship, the third Champions Major of the season. SteelFiber shafts deliver the power of graphite and stability of steel and are perhaps the fastest growing, most exciting trend in golf equipment on the Champions Tour today.

Playing SteelFiber i110 shafts in his irons, the Senior Players Championship runner-up shot 17-under-par 263 for second-place. He was first in Greens-in-Regulation, shooting 90.28%, and tied for first in birdies (23). He is currently the No. 3 ranked player in the Charles Schwab Cup and the weekend's results puts SteelFiber players at Nos. 3 and 7 in the Charles Schwab Cup's Top 10 rankings.

Meanwhile on the PGA Tour, SteelFiber i95 shafts secured another Top 10 money position with a T8 at the AT&T National. SteelFiber shafts are No. 2 and No. 3 in the FedEx Cup Standings; No. 2 and No. 3 in the 2013 PGA TOUR Money List; No. 5 and 7 in official world rankings; and tied for first for Top 10 finishes on the PGA TOUR. SteelFiber shafts have been the No. 1 iron composite shafts on the PGA TOUR in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

"It's very exciting to see Steelfiber shafts delivering Top 10 finishes on the PGA and Champions Tour nearly every week," says Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary. "More and more players on the PGA and Champions Tours are discovering the unique performance characteristics of SteelFiber shafts. SteelFiber's composite technology is a game-changing innovation that gives greater vibration dampening and reduces player fatigue, while at the same time provides the stability and shot-making consistency often associated with steel shafts."
