SteelFiber Wins the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am
The No. 1 composite iron shafts on the PGA TOUR, SteelFiber shafts by Aerotech Golf won the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. This week’s victory marks the second pro tour win and the seventh Top Five finish in the past five weeks for shafts well-known for combining the power of graphite and the stability of steel.

The nine-year pro and reigning FedExCup champion shot 19-under 267 to break the tournament record and capture his first win of 2013, playing SteelFiber i95 shafts in his Bridgestone irons. The victory was the fifth of his career and fourth within the past 22 months. The champion moved to No. 4 in the world, and is now the second-highest American in the world ranking.

“We are very pleased to have such an unprecedented start to the 2013 season. More and more TOUR players are discovering the unique playing benefits of composite iron shafts so we’re looking forward to a very exciting season this year,” said Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary. “SteelFiber is the only technology of its kind on the PGA TOUR. SteelFiber shafts provide the consistency of steel, while at the same time provide the feel and vibration-dampening benefits of graphite. It’s a winning innovation that’s changing the game.”
