SteelFiber Wins Honda LPGA Thailand; Tops All U.S. Tours
SteelFiber shafts by Aerotech Golf delivered the power of graphite and the stability of steel to win the Honda LPGA Thailand. With the victory, SteelFiber shafts have won on all three top tours in the United States and are the undisputable No. 1 graphite iron shafts on the PGA, Champions and LPGA Tours.

The 26-year-old Swedish player led the Honda LPGA Thailand wire-to-wire and fended off many big name players on Sunday to earn her third LPGA title. She shot 66-72-67-68 (273) for a 15-under-par and a two-stroke victory, playing SteelFiber i95 shafts in her irons. In addition to the champion, a fifth-place tie finisher played SteelFiber i80 shafts in her 18- and 20-degree hybrid clubs.

“This is the first LPGA win for SteelFiber shafts, so it’s unquestionably a big milestone for Aerotech,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “SteelFiber technology is a game-changer. These shafts incorporate high-modulus graphite and micro-thin steel fibers, an innovative combination that allow players to increase yardage, reduce fatigue, and still maintain the stability and accuracy normally associated with steel shafts. It’s a true innovation that is now a proven winner on all three top U.S. tours.”
