SteelFiber Shafts Win the Toshiba Classic
SteelFiber shafts, designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, delivered another victory this weekend, this time topping the leaderboard at the Toshiba Classic. In addition to the win, the No. 1 graphite iron shafts on the PGA and Champions Tours claimed two Top Five money positions, with two other players tying for fifth.

Playing SteelFiber i110cw shafts in his irons, the Toshiba Classic champion fired off birdies in the final two holes to claim a one-stroke victory and his 10th Champions Tour title. Ranking No. 1 in total birdies for the event, he shot a 65-67-66 (198) to finish at 15-under at Newport Beach Country Club. He is currently in second-place in Charles Schwab Cup points.

“We congratulate this weekend’s champion at the Toshiba Classic on a great victory,” says Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary. “Unlike traditional steel shafts, whose designs have been relatively unchanged for the past 80 years, SteelFiber shafts deliver game-changing innovation by incorporating high-modulus graphite and micro-thin steel fibers. The combination gives the added power of graphite while still maintaining the stability and consistency normally associated with steel shafts. It’s the undeniably the next evolution in iron shafts, and it’s a proven winner on pro tours.”
