SteelFiber Shafts Lock Up Second-Place at The Barclays
The No. 1 composite iron shafts in golf, SteelFiber shafts are no stranger to Top Money on the PGA TOUR. Aerotech Golf announces that its SteelFiber iron shafts locked up second-place at The Barclays this week in Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Barclays is the 16th Top 10 for Aerotech shafts on the PGA TOUR in 2012.

Playing SteelFiber shafts in his Bridgestone irons, the Nashville native shot a 70-69-68-70 (6-under 277) that included 14 birdies and one eagle. His second-place finish at The Barclays also secured a current second-place in the FedExCup standings.

“We’re very excited to have another Top 10 finish this week. SteelFiber shafts continue to provide performance benefits on the PGA TOUR that are unlike any other shafts. The composite SteelFiber technology provides greater vibration dampening and reduces player fatigue similar to graphite shafts, while simultaneously giving the greater stability and consistency that is normally associated with steel shafts,” said Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary.
