SteelFiber Lands Top Fives on PGA and European Tours

SteelFiber graphite iron shafts, designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, garnered three Top 10 finishes on the PGA and European Tours this weekend. SteelFiber i95 and i110 shafts captured T3 and T6 finishes, respectively, at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions on the PGA Tour, while SteelFiber i110 shafts also delivered a fourth-place tie at the BMW SA Open on the European Tour.

The Top Five on the European Tour gained notoriety among some of the players, as the two-time U.S. Open champion achieved the T4 finish playing SteelFiber i110 graphite shafts in his irons for the first time on Tour.

“Unlike traditional steel shaft designs that have basically remained unchanged for more than 80 years, SteelFiber graphite iron shafts are a game-changer,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “The innovative SteelFiber technology delivers stability and increases distance, while they simultaneously reduce the risk of injury and decrease player fatigue. This combination allows players to play their best for longer periods of time and finish stronger.”
