SteelFiber Adds Top 10s at Pacific Links Hawai'i Championship
Sun, surf and tropical breezes would normally be excitement enough, but this weekend during the Pacific Links Hawai'i Championship, Aerotech SteelFiber i110 shafts won two Top 10 money positions at Kapolei. The fourth- and sixth-place tie finishes delivered more tour-proven success for the No. 1 composite iron shafts on the PGA and Champions Tours.

Playing SteelFiber i110 shafts in his irons, the T4 finisher was No. 1 in the number of birdies (19) and chalked up his eighth Top 10 of the year. Meanwhile, a former Masters champion trusted SteelFiber i110 shafts to deliver his eighth Top 10 of the year as well (T6). He scored second in birdies (18) and tied for fifth in Greens-in-Regulation.

"The innovative composite technology of SteelFiber shafts continues to deliver week after week on the PGA and Champions Tours, and it's very satisfying to see players embrace new technology and then reap the rewards of better performance," says Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary. "SteelFiber is specifically designed to provide greater vibration dampening and reduce player fatigue, while at the same time delivering stability and increased distance. Today, SteelFiber composite technology is a real game-changer."

On the PGA TOUR, SteelFiber shafts ended the regular season as No. 2 and No. 3 in the FedEx Cup Season Points; No. No. 6 and No. 12 in FedEx Cup Playoff Points; and are currently No. 3 and No. 5 on the PGA Money List; Nos. 8 and 9 in official world rankings; and tied for first and fourth in Top 10 finishes. Also this year, SteelFiber has five wins on the PGA Tour and one win on the Champions Tour.
