NIPPON SHAFT REPEATS AS WINNER OF DP WORLD TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP IN DUBAI
Nippon Shaft won the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai for the second consecutive year on Sunday (Nov. 23) thanks to a final-round 2-under par 70 that led to a 72-hole total of 16-under par.

The 38-year-old Swede used Nippon Shaft’s N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 120 steel shafts in his irons and wedges, and shot 68-66-68-70 at Jumeirah Golf Estates to repeat as winner of the prestigious season-ending event.  He won by two shots thanks to birdies on the final two holes.  The champion also finished second in this year’s Race to Dubai, the season-long points competition, which he won last year.

“Nippon Shaft congratulates this year’s DP World Tour Championship winner on his repeat victory in this highly competitive event,” said Hiro Fukuda, sales and marketing for the Japanese shaft maker. “Nippon Shaft is honored that he continues to use Nippon Shaft products in his irons and wedges.”
