KBS Trusted by First and Second Place Teams at the Franklin Templeton Shootout

The KBS Tour shaft was trusted by players in the top two teams at the Franklin Templeton Shootout. The charity event featured 24 of the world’s top player in a mixed team format. On both the first and second place teams, a teammate trusted KBS Tour shafts in their irons and wedges.

The winning team birdied five of the last six holes to win the event by one shot. For the teammate trusting KBS shafts, this was his third time winning the event, and second time with KBS shafts. Now a regular on the Champions Tour, this professional recorded KBS Golf Shaft’s first career PGA TOUR victory in 2008 at the Buick Open.

KBS Shafts were also trusted by a teammate in the second place team. This team fired a final round of 57 in scramble format. Trusting the KBS Tour shaft in black nickel finish, this teammate is a regular on the PGA TOUR and has been a long time fan of KBS since introduction in 2008.

“Both of these players have trusted KBS for multiple years now and we are excited to see them finish the 2012 season on a high note. We congratulate both players for a strong performance.” said Kim Braly, head of TOUR Operations and Research & Development at KBS.

Today, KBS is the fastest growing steel shaft brand in the industry. Since introduction in 2008, over 120 professionals across the PGA, European, and Web.com Tours trust KBS shafts every week. That number is highlighted by 10 of Top 50 players in Official World Rankings.
