Aerotech Golf's SteelFiber Shafts Earn Top Money at Augusta

Aerotech Golf is proud to announce that its SteelFiber composite iron shafts earned two Top 10s and a 11th-place money position at the 2013 Masters Tournament, one of the most historic and revered events in golf. This week at Augusta National, the No. 5 and No. 9 ranked players in the world scored T6 and T8 money positions, respectively, at the Masters playing Aerotech SteelFiber i95 composite shafts in their irons.

SteelFiber shafts are well-known for delivering the power of graphite and the stability of steel shafts, and composite iron shaft technology continues to demonstrate superior performance every week. SteelFiber shafts are No. 2 and No. 3 in money earned on the 2013 PGA TOUR, and tied for first in Top 10 finishes.

"This year’s field at Augusta National included 87 of the world’s top professionals and six amateurs, representing a total of 20 countries, and we’re very excited to see SteelFiber shafts becoming more popular in the game’s most prestigious venues," says Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary. "The SteelFiber composite technology is the only one of its kind on the PGA Tour. Graphite shafts produce greater vibration dampening and less fatigue and steel shafts offer more consistency — SteelFiber shafts bring together these two materials to produce the power of graphite and stability of steel."
