Aerotech Golf Wins Farmers Insurance Open
SteelFiber graphite iron shafts, designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, topped the money lists on the PGA and LPGA Tours this weekend. SteelFiber i95 delivered victory at the Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour, while SteelFiber i95 shafts also tied for second at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic on the LPGA Tour.

Playing SteelFiber i95 graphite shafts in his irons, the Farmers Insurance Open champion delivered an incredible 3-under par on Sunday despite hard rain and high winds, and was the only player to shoot under par in the final round. The champion’s 6-under 282 resulted in his eighth PGA Tour victory. Meanwhile on the LPGA Tour, the Swedish-born LPGA veteran played SteelFiber i95 graphite shafts in her irons for a T2 finish at the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic. The event marked her 49th Top 10 finish on the LPGA Tour, totalling more than $5.49 million in winnings.

“We congratulate this weekend’s champion at the Farmers Insurance Open for his incredible play during some very tough conditions,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “SteelFiber graphite iron shafts are designed to allow players to perform their best, regardless of high winds or other difficult playing conditions. SteelFiber delivers stability and increases distance, while at the same time reducing the risk of injury and decreasing player fatigue.”
