SteelFiber Delivers Top Fives 'Down Under'
The No. 1 graphite iron shafts on the PGA and Champion Tours, SteelFiber shafts delivered two Top Five finishes in two weeks 'Down Under' in Australia. SteelFiber shafts by Aerotech Golf took second place at the Australian Masters and a solo fourth at the ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf, played this weekend at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club.

The United States player used SteelFiber i95 shafts in his Bridgestone irons to shoot a 6-under par 278 (71-68-68-71) during the World Cup and a 12-under par at the Australian Masters.

"SteelFiber shafts are demonstrating real game-changing innovation in tournaments around the world, and we're very pleased to showcase the superior performance benefits of playing composite technology in irons," says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. "SteelFiber shafts provide greater vibration dampening and reduce player fatigue, while also giving players the stability and consistency of steel shafts."

SteelFiber has been the No. 1 graphite irons shafts on the PGA TOUR in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. SteelFiber shafts ended the regular 2013 season as No. 2 and No. 3 in the FedEx Cup Season Points; No. 6 and No. 12 in FedEx Cup Playoff Points; and ended 2013 overall as No. 3 and No. 5 on the PGA Money List; Nos. 8 and 9 in official world rankings; and tied for first and fourth in Top 10 finishes. In 2013, players with SteelFiber shafts in their irons won five events on the PGA TOUR and two events on the Champions Tour.

SteelFiber shafts provide superior performance through innovative composite engineering that combines a high-modulus graphite core with 59 miles of steel fiber lacing the shaft surface. The shaft's graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, while the steel fibers produce optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy.
